Time Shutter San Francisco is a whole new way to explore San Francisco. The iPhone App lets you see what San Francisco looked around 1900 and re-photograph locations to make your own Time Pix, or then and now transitions you can watch on your iPhone or website.
The website, TimeShutter.com, built with Drupal, offers similar functionality, including an old map of San Francisco superimposed on a Google Map to navigate through the city a century ago. The Drupal website manages the content for the iPhone App.
The App was selected for the iTunes App store home page within two weeks of its realease in January 2011 and has garnered widespread praise from users and the App review industry for its innovative functionality and aesthetics. A New York version is in development, as well as Android and iPad versions.
ISL and ClearMetrics are working on a number of other mobile Apps for the health-care, sports and news industries powered by Drupal.
