Often the place where ISL’s deep technical expertise demonstrates its highest value is in integrating Drupal with existing systems and operations. ISL has employed several methods, and each case presents its own unique challenges. Web services (including extensive use of the Feeds module), output of custom datasets and custom formats, and service automation have all been employed in such projects.
ISL’s extensive ecommerce work (including Foodland, Metabolife, Row Eleven Wines) has provided custom integration with various fulfillment, inventory management and customer management systems.
Continuing Education for health professionals, whose content and credits are managed by a CE provider, is processed through the SightNation and PharmQD Drupal sites through a Web services solution.
ISL has integrated sites into single-sign-on (SSO) systems, where clients have needed visitors to maintain a signed-in status across many sites (Skillscan, ControlHypertension.org)
ISL has also built integrations to process incoming content from various sources, via automatic feeds or dumps in XML and other structured formats (drgreene.com, content, SightNation job feeds).
