Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Robert's duties include providing business strategy guidance to ISL and ISL's clients from a technology perspective, participating in projects, and assessing partnership opportunities.

Robert has been with ISL since 1994, when he joined the company as its first employee. He has been a key figure in ISL management since day one, and has helped to cultivate a top-notch team of engineers. He advocates information sharing, mentoring and practice development activities that keep ISL at the forefront of consulting and development companies.

During his tenure, he has worked hands-on with numerous technologies on behalf of many of ISL's Global 1000 clients. As such he has maintained a current understanding of the benefits that technology can bring to a business. By continually applying this knowledge, Robert creates implementations that help ISL's clients enhance their businesses and their competitive positions.

Since programming his Atari 400 at age 9, Robert has always had an intense interest in computer technology and its ability to improve the way things work. Prior to working at ISL, Robert graduated from U.C. Hastings College of the Law and was licensed to practice law in California. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kansas with an Honors Degree in English literature and writing and has independently released two albums, Bob is Famous. and Soulever.
