President of ClearMetrics, as well as Chairman of the ISL Media Group, David Ferguson founded ISL Consulting, a full service Internet consulting firm, in 1993. In fifteen years, ISL has been at the forefront of every significant development in the Internet space, acting as a strategic consultant and development conduit for clients as wide ranging as Chevron/Texaco (a client since inception) to Common Sense Media, Row Eleven Wines and Yahoo!. His background in strategic planning and business process, audience behavior, metrics and marketing served as the foundation for the business model of ISL Consulting and now ClearMetrics, both part of the ISL Media Group.
Mr. Ferguson has held major positions at such firms as Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), Dartnell Marketing Publications, Wang and The Harris Corporation. Additionally, he is a past president of the Board of Young Audiences Bay Area, a non-profit organization which funds music outreach programs to the San Francisco Bay Area public school system and the past president of the Board of the Santa Barbara Ballet.
