David Ferguson

Founder & Chairman

David Ferguson is the Founder and Chairman of ISL, an internet consulting firm and provider of robust open source applications. Prior to launching ISL in 1993, Mr Ferguson was with CERA (Cambridge Energy Research Associates), a geopolitical energy consulting firm in Cambridge Massachusetts, and was the Director of the Dartnell Publishing Group in Boston. Having a background and expertise in technology, strategic planning and publishing, Mr. Ferguson founded ISL to provide an integrated solution for large companies extending their business to the digital arena. He turned daily management of the primary consulting group over to the management team, led by Omar Khan, in 2000 and continues to provide strategic guidance and support at the Board level.

Today, Mr Ferguson leads the ISL Media Group in New York City, an aligned ISL company with a specific focus on strategic planning and project conceptualization for companies with multiple media or product assets.
